SHOOT! GOAL TO THE FUTURE (July 2)
What is it about ?

Why are we looking forward to it?
Thirty years after its first version, the famous sports manga by Tsukasa Oshima sold over 50 million copies returns for a second adaptation. After having marked and given the taste of football to a whole generation, Shoot! Goal to the Future succeeds its Spring 2022 predecessor, Ao Ashi, (still airing) and transitions into the highly anticipated Blue Lock, due this fall.
Vice-captain in the 1993 anime, Atsushi Kamiya is here the new protagonist after Toshihiko Tanaka. The perfect opportunity to learn more about this charismatic and emblematic character of the work. A must try for the most nostalgic as well as for the newbies.
ENGAGE KISS (July 2)
What is it about ?
Engage Kiss transports us to Bayron City, a Mega-Float city located in the Pacific Ocean, which does not belong to any particular nation. Thanks to its Orgonium mine, a new energy resource, it has become the center of interest of the whole world. However, there are reports of appearances of demons called “D Hazards” which only a handful of people know about.
Shu, a young man living in Bayron City, runs a small private military company in charge of these creatures. But he is always short of money. In his entourage, high school student Kisara supports him by helping him with his daily tasks and his ex-girlfriend, Ayano, works for a large competing company.
Why are we looking forward to it?
Ayano turns out to be a demon while Kisara made a contract with Shu. How will relations within this trio evolve with the events that are being prepared?
A romantic comedy with a love triangle and demons? This can only make curious! Especially when you see the trailer and the sumptuous animation of these first images.
LYCORIS RECOIL (July 2)
What is it about ?
If you want peace of mind, turn to Lycoris, a secret crime-fighting organization made up of two female agents.
When they are not on mission, they take care of a café that offers sweets, indulge in shopping and even do babysitting! Follow the daily life of this funny duo.
Why are we looking forward to it?
This is the very first creation of Shingo Adachi, character designer of Sword Art Online, who is abandoning his cap as a graphic designer and science fiction to produce this comedy with a duo of heroines as different as they are touching.
This slice of life very sweet and filled with humor will undoubtedly be THE relaxing moment of this season. If you want a hassle-free anime that makes you smile and is visually very beautiful to watch, Lycoris Recoil is for you!
YUREI DECO (July 3)
What is it about ?
The story of Yurei Deco begins when Berry, an ordinary girl from an ordinary home, meets Hack, a girl who looks like a boy. Charmed by Hack, Berry finds herself drawn into her club of ghost hunters.
Not all members of this club have a social life. They act invisibly in Tom Sawyer, a world between real and digital. While working with the group, Berry learns of the existence of Zero, a mysterious character who lurks in Tom Sawyer’s underworld. By pursuing this character, Berry and Huck will discover the truth about this world…
Why are we looking forward to it?
The graphics of this anime (which promises to be amazing) are particularly remarkable and are off the beaten track.
In addition, the themes covered seem captivating, in particular the relationship of the characters to reality, in a world oscillating between virtuality and reality.
MY STEPMOM’S DAUGHTER IS MY EX (July 3)
What is it about ?
My Stepmom’s Daughter Is My Ex is a comedy adapted from a light novel (Project No.9) When they were in middle school, Mizuto Irido and Yume Ayai started dating. Very much in love at first, they ended up breaking up after a misunderstanding that was never resolved. Some time later, they find themselves in a surprising way, just before they enter high school.
Indeed, they each have one of their parents who has entered into a relationship with the other, thus becoming brothers and sisters by marriage! A rule is however established: The first who begins to have an attraction for the other will lose! But what remains of their past feelings? And will they manage to control them in their new daily life?
Why are we looking forward to it?
Far from violent fights or sadistic demons, this anime looks like a breath of fresh air! This show is based on the light novels of the same name by Kamishiro Kyosuke and Takayaki, published since December 2018 in Japan.
There’s nothing like a light and unpretentious little romantic comedy, carried by endearing characters, to feel better! Of course, this series will not escape a little ecchi, but should delight fans of the genre.
THE YAKUZA’S GUIDE TO BABYSITTING (July 7)
What is it about ?
The Yakuza’s Guide To Babysitting is taken from a manga announced in September in France at Kana (Feel / Gaina).
Nicknamed “Sakuragi’s Demon” in the underworld of society, Tooru Kirishima is used to solving all problems with violence. One day, the boss of the yakuza family Sakuragi summons him and gives him custody of his only daughter, Yaeka…
Why are we looking forward to it?
The original manga Kumichou Musume to Sewagakari was first serialized on the Comic Ride Pixiv site since June 2018, then on Comic ELMO in May 2020.
So far, six tankobon volumes have been published in Japan and the total number of copies in circulation has exceeded 500,000. Pending publication in France, the anime, which promises to be tender and light, arrives in July and risks dynamiting the genre!
LUCIFER AND THE BISCUIT HAMMER (July 8)
What is it about ?
Yûhi Amamiya meets a gifted lizard who asks him to become his Master-Knight and, incidentally, to save the earth from a terrible threat!
Before he can refuse, Yūhi is transformed into a member of the Animal Knights and given a ring that grants him psychic power.
Why are we looking forward to it?
Do you like the absurd and the quirky? Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer should delight you! Between its space mallet, its talkative lizard and its pseudo-medieval atmosphere, you haven’t finished spending completely wacky moments in the company of crazy characters.
Adapted from the eponymous work of Mizukami Satoshi, this series comes seventeen years after the Japanese publication of his manga. Not content to be original, the anime also offers a very pleasant graphic touch signed NAZ (Sabikui Bisco, Thermae Romae Novae…)
FUUTO PI (July 31)
What is it about ?
In the city of Fuuto, criminals use USB devices that allow them to transform into super-powered monsters called Dopants, wreaking havoc on the city.
However, there are heroes who use the same devices to fight these criminals, including badass detective Shoutarou Hidari. Along with his spirit partner Philip, the two transform into Kamen Rider W, the legendary hero of Fuuto City.
Why are we looking forward to it?
After the return of Tiger & Bunny at the beginning of April, it is another duo of heroes in entomoid armor who come to bring justice to their city. An animated sequel but also an anniversary project, Fuuto Pi is the new Karmen Rider series, created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the franchise.
Between mysteries, fights and mechas, follow the adventures of these two detectives and a whole range of colorful characters. Its action scenes and colorful landscapes promise to amaze you!

BASTARD!! -HEAVY METAL, DARK FANTASY- (June 30)
What is it about ?
In a world returned to the medieval era, where war and its horrors reign, the terrible army of darkness seeks to bring back to life Anthrax, an ancient god of destruction, in order to use his power to conquer the world. .
To achieve this goal, Kal Su, the leader of the army, decides to assault Meta-Licana, a kingdom holding one of the seals that imprisons the creature.
Why are we looking forward to it?
It is the second adaptation of the popular seine by Hagiwara Kazushi, published in 1988. Very famous in the heroic fantasy genre, the Bastard!! was declined in several forms (CD, OAV, video games, novels ..) before reaching us in anime in the 90s.
It is with a touch of modernity that the demonic magician, Dark Schneider, is back on Netflix to offer brand new visibility to this atypical and bewitching work! Note, however, that the “harem” and “eroticism” themes of the original manga reserve this series for an adult audience.
DETECTIVE CONAN: ZERO AT TEA TIME (July 29)
What is it about ?
It is a spin-off of the famous Detective Conan manga.
Discover the daily life of Rei Furuya, also known as Tooru Amuro and Bourbon.
Why are we looking forward to it?
Detective Conan: Zero at Tea Time, is based on the manga Meitantei Conan: Zero no Tea Time by Takahiro Arai. This spin-off series chronicles the daily life of Rei Furuya, also known as Tooru Amuro and Bourbon.
Each chapter of the manga features one of its three faces: the private detective and waiter at Café Poirot, the agent of the Organization of Men in Black and the officer of the NPA. Fans of the famous sleuth will be thrilled! Let’s hope this spin-off lives up to the cult series, whose last film, The Bride of Shibuya, was released in theaters last May.
