Unveiled even before the game was released in early summer 2020, the animated series Cyberpunk: Edge Runners returned to center stage during the Geek Week 2022full of promise, before introducing its opening quite particular. Since then, we have been able to take full view with a trailer at the beginning of the month during which the various Edgerunners forming the group of protagonists were introduced. There was only one element missing before its launch in September on netflix : a specific release date. Well that’s what CD Project gives us the detour of what will undoubtedly be the last trailer from the anime, baptized NSFW and who is indeed “Not Safe For Work” during certain scenes.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners tells the story of David Martinez, a street brat who seeks to survive in a city of the future obsessed with technology and body modification. After a personal tragedy, David decides to take his own destiny into his own hands by becoming an edgerunner — an outlaw mercenary also known as a cyberpunk.
