Completely different, less devastating games can now also be found on the streaming service. The provider has started its Netflix Games project. What users should know now.

How can I access the video games?

So far, only users with Android smartphones and tablets can access the video games on offer. After logging in on the relevant device, users who use a conventional profile will find their own sub-category for games. The games available for download are displayed here. The function should also come for iOS. However, it is not yet known when this will be the case. The games cannot be used on kids profiles.

What games are there?

To start there are five games. Two of them are based on the mystery series “Stranger Things”, one of Netflix’s greatest successes. Included are “Stranger Things: 1984”, “Stranger Things 3”, “Shooting Hoops”, “Card Blast” and “Teeter Up”.

What does it cost?

In addition to the existing subscription, there are no further costs. Netflix also promises there will be no in-app purchases or advertising.

What’s next?

Gradually, Netflix would like to expand its game library. According to the company, the offer is to be expanded in the coming months. It is not yet clear which titles the provider would like to make available. One message only states that “games for all types of players” should be developed.
