Netflix has just updated the list of smartphones compatible with viewing in HD, HDR or with Dolby Vision. Good news for Samsung owners, since the streaming service has just added many brand devices, all ranges combined.
As you may know, Netflix offers its users Standard and Premium plans to watch their favorite series and movies in HD, HDR or Dolby Vision. Regarding the Standard subscription billed at €13.99 per month, you can only enjoy your content in HD, while you will need to subscribe to a Premium subscription (€17.99/month) to access 4K, HDR and Dolby Vision.
Of course, it is possible to enjoy this image quality directly on your smartphone, under the following conditions:
- Have a smartphone capable of displaying content in HDR
- Be a Premium Member
- Have an internet connection of at least 15 Mb/s or more
- Set the streaming quality to High on the Netflix mobile app
Benefiting from an already substantial list of devices compatible with HD, HDR and Dolby Vision, Netflix has just added this Wednesday, September 7, 2022 several Samsung smartphones, all ranges combined.

Many Samsung smartphones join the list of compatible devices
Indeed, we note the presence of many Galaxy A (Samsung’s entry level), as well as Galaxy M, which make up the manufacturer’s mid-range offer. In addition, we also note that the latest foldable smartphones from the South Korean firm, namely the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4, are also entering the list.
