Glamorous tells the story of Marco Mejia, a young queer transsexual whose life takes a turn for the worse until he lands a job with makeup icon Madolyn Addison. For the first time, Marco will have the opportunity to decide what he wants to do with his life, to find out who he really is, and what being queer means to him.

The actress has slipped into the skin of a badass entrepreneur and businesswoman of the caliber of Miranda Priestley (Meryl Streep) of The Devil Wears Prada, less pugnacious and more extravagant.

She will recruit Marco Mejia (Ben J. Pierce), a young non-binary makeup expert addicted to social networks who shares his passion daily with his followers. Marco then becomes Kim’s second assistant and works with the first assistant Venetia (Jade Payton), much more benevolent than Emily (Emily Blunt) in David Frankel’s film.
In addition to Venetia, Marco will be able to count on other queer colleagues, like Ben (Michael Hsu Rosen) and Britt (Ayesha Harris), to integrate, flourish and hope to do his job properly. And his young spirit and up-to-date ideas could well be of great help to Madolyn’s company, which is in crisis and the threat of a takeover.
The only downside: Chad (Zane Phillips), Madolyn’s son, who sees Marco as a competitor, at least at first. But Marco doesn’t just have his professional life to manage, he also has a busy love life, starting with a complicated relationship with a certain Parker (Graham Parkhurst).
