After having (re)seen masterpieces like Heat Or The Godfather 2and maybe having fun with the performance of Margot Robbie in Harley Quinn in Birds of Prey, serious things can begin. A cult series is back, and in a few hours a highly anticipated film will also be released.
A cult and disturbing series back on Netflix
Tada Tudum! It’s the big day for season 6 of Black Mirror which is available on Netflix. The five unreleased episodes, still overseen by creator Charlie Brooker, appeared on the platform in the early morning. New more or less long stories with a big cast of stars. And it starts strong with “Joan is horrible” carried by Salma Hayek (A night in hell). “An ordinary woman discovers that a global streaming service has adapted her daily life, along with its secrets, into a TV drama starring Salma Hayek” tells us the synopsis.
The cult Netflix series has also recruited other talents like Jon Hamm (madmen), Aaron Paul (Westworld), Kate Mara (House of Cards), Anthony Mackie (Captain America), but also Josh Hartnett (The Faculty), Paapa Essiedu (Utopia), Myha’la Herrold (Industry), Michael Cera (Scott Pilgrim) and more. If you devoured Black Mirror season 6 quickly, or perhaps stopped watching due to disappointing episodes, another unmissable novelty is on the way. Tyler Rake 2 will be available on Netflix this Friday, June 16 at 9:01 a.m. The usual time for new platform releases.
Why a sequel? This is the biggest card for an original film from the firm at N rouge. In this new film, Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth), a former SASR (Australian Special Air Force Regiment) left for dead nine months ago, will have to find out how and for what reason(s) he survived. Back on his feet and ready to break jaws, he is sent to India to find and save the son of a local kingpin. A basic mission for a John Wick-style feature film that still promises a dose of action. Shootouts, hand-to-hand combat and even more sequence shots, a winning recipe? We’ll see that in a few hours from now.
