Netflix quiz: impossible to recognize these 10 films with the very first image!

You will only be entitled to one image, and not just any, the very first, to try to recognize these nine films to be found in the Netflix France catalog.

There are films that have remained in the history of cinema and have marked the spectators above all for their introduction. The sequence shot, for example, a process that consists of filming a scene continuously without any cuts, could be used as a film opening for a visually and technically striking introduction.

We can for example think of the virtuosity of Paul Thomas Anderson, who opened his Boogie Nights in the street, before heading inside the club, going from table to table following the waitress on rollerblades. At the end of the 1970s, it was John Carpenter who used this same process in the introduction to Halloween, with a long five-minute sequence whose conclusion on the young Michael Myers had created its little effect.

Another director, Stanley Kubrick, known for his absolute sense of control and precision, also offered us some memorable introductions. The most famous is undoubtedly that of 2001 A Space Odyssey. A long introduction to prehistoric times, almost a mini-movie in itself, which concluded with one of the most famous elliptical fittings in cinema, the bone thrown by the monkey which becomes a spaceship wandering on the Blue Danube by Johann Strauss. We can also mention from the same director, the slow tracking shot at the beginning of A Clockwork Orange which crosses the Korova Milkbar to arrive on the disturbing gaze of Alex.

With this new quiz, we invite you to try to recognize nine films present in the Netflix France catalog, only using their very first image.
