In addition to its Japanese-produced animated series and feature films, netflix also has several western cartoons in progress, like The Cuphead Show!, Jurassic World: Cretaceous Camp Where He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. He is preparing others for the months to come, and has just unveiled the first images of Daniel Spellbound: All for Magic, Dead End: Paranormal Park, Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, My Dad the Bounty Hunter and We Lost Our Human.
The video showing these projects mostly ends on a first excerpt from Sonic Primethe new animated series around Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends. We don’t know much about her, except that she is led by SEGA, WildBrain Studios and Man of Entertainment, and will last at least 24 episodes. There we see the blue hedgehog with a funny animation for his movements, as he boasts of his power by collecting rings. The preview is sketchy, but gives an idea of the artistic direction.
Sonic Prime does not yet have a precise release date, but is planned for 2022 exclusively on netflix. Until then, Sonic Colors Ultimate is he available from €39.99 on Amazon.co.uk.
