After the success of “Squid Game”, the Netflix platform is capitalizing on the phenomenon to launch a reality show adapted from the concept. Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk wants fans to distance themselves.

This success is an extension of the phenomenon born on Netflix with the release of the series. A box that launched a season 2, but also a reality TV show The Squid Game: The Challenge. He pursues : “The message of the story is quite heavy and I know there are concerns about turning this message into reality TV with a huge payoff. But when you take things too seriously, you can’t really get ahead in the entertainment industry. It’s a bad start.“In other words, this program has no other interest than to create more excitement around the series.
The creator still hopes that the show will bring new meaning to his concept. A total of 456 participants are announced. An international casting call has been launched by Netflix. Filming is planned in the UK and the airing date is still unknown.
