In the Netflix film adaptation “Damsel”, “Stranger Things” star Millie Bobby Brown shows a completely new side and throws all clichés overboard. The “damsel in distress” takes matters into her own hands and doesn’t wait for help from a heroic prince.
“Damsel” is about a young woman (Millie Bobby Brown) who is about to be married to an attractive prince. When she learns that she has been betrayed by the man’s royal family, the maiden is imprisoned in a cave and guarded by a fire-breathing dragon.
The new trailer for “Damsel” has now been released for this year’s “Geeked Week” from Netflix. In it, viewers get some insights into the desolate imprisonment of the young woman, who becomes part of a “big” cross-generational task.
In addition to Millie Bobby Brown (“Enola Holmes” series) in the leading role, Nick Robinson (“Maid”) as the prince, Angela Bassett (“9-1-1: Emergency Call LA”) and Robin Wright (“House of Cards”) also star “), Ray Winstone (“Ice”), Brooke Carter and Shohreh Aghdashloo (“The Expanse”) can be seen in the new Netflix original.
