Netflix is breaking new ground: Since Thursday, fans have been able to purchase merchandising items for Netflix productions in an online shop.
The streaming giant Netflix is expanding its range and has launched an online shop for its fans since Thursday. On the netflix.shop website Fans can find merchandise for exclusive Netflix content. So far, the range has been limited, but is to be gradually expanded over the next few weeks and months. At the launch of the site there were only articles for the anime series “Eden” and “Yasuke” to buy.
According to Netflix, fan articles with the Netflix logo, including pillows and boxer shorts, will also follow in the next few days, as will merchandise for the successful French series “Lupine”, which were even created in cooperation with the Louvre. In addition, the makers have already announced goods for the productions “The Witcher” and “Stranger Things”. US media also speculate that it is only a matter of time that other cult series such as “Tiger King” or “Bridgerton” will be refilled.
