Gossip Girl fans were no longer expecting it, but it’s confirmed: the entire series is finally back in the Netflix catalog.
It had not been available since the end of 2022 on Netflix and fans were disgusted when this series left the platform’s catalog. For months, the streaming service was still receiving messages from subscribers on the networks asking when the American giant was going to recover the rights.
And fans will be delighted since this popular series in the 2000s, which has become a flagship program on the platform seen and reviewed with pleasure by subscribers, is finally back in the Netflix catalog.
This series is Gossip Girl. The television adaptation of Cecily von Ziegesar’s work by Josh Schwartz (Newport Beach) and Stephanie Savage (Dynasty) followed for six seasons the life of New York’s golden youth, narrated and spiced up by a mysterious blogger.
Broadcast between 2007 and 2012 on the American channel The CW and multi-rebroadcast in France on the channels of the TF1 group, Gossip Girl quickly became a phenomenon. The series has entered popular culture and fans have been able to rewatch the adventures of Blair, Serena, Nate, Chuck and company on Netflix for several years.
