Between COVID-19 and Henry Cavill’s hamstring injury, producers will have had a hard time canning season 2 of The Witcher. Spectators thus had to wait 2 years before finding the adaptation of the series of video games on netflixbetween December 2019 and 2021.
Will we have to wait so long to enjoy season 3, already confirmed? One thing is certain, things are moving forward, as the producers have just confirmed that his shooting had started, revealing a photo of comedians Henry Cavill, Freya Allan and Anya Chalotra in the snow, ready to walk in front of the camera, a horse and a dark forest in the background. Mostly, netflix reveals the synopsis of these new episodes :

So it’s at the academy of magic for young girls of theIsle of Thanedd that the story will continue, certainly with a batch of new characters at the key. The cast of this season 3 has not yet been announced, but maybe netflix will communicate soon on this. But we have time, the sequel probably not coming until 2023, while The Witcher: Blood Origina second animated film and even a series for children and families should keep us busy until then.
