Thanks to the recent release of the Double Trap series on Netflix, another series dating back several years found itself propelled into the top 10 most viewed series on the streaming platform.

This thriller adapted from a novel by Harlan Coben quickly won over the public thanks to its rhythm and its gripping story. As fans of the author already know, Double Trap is far from being the only adaptation of a work by Harlan Coben to land on a streaming platform. The writer of successful detective novels is behind many other projects, including the Intimidation series. The latter may have been available since January 30, 2020 on Netflix, but it has just been make an appearance again in the top 10 of the most watched series on the platform.
The success of Double Trap has indeed encouraged viewers to discover other series adapted from Harlan Coben’s novels, and they should not have been disappointed. Intimidation tells the story of a father, Adam Price, who finds himself approached by an unknown young woman wearing a cap. The latter assures him that his wife lied to him about his children and that they are not his. Only later when Adam confronts his wife directly to ask her the question, the latter dodges and sends him a message explaining that she needs time before disappearing… Throughout the eight episodes of this mini-series, the The unknown woman and her secrets will turn the lives of all the characters upside down until we discover, obviously, that all their stories are linked…

The author’s pen transposes perfectly to the screen and gives spanting series, careful in substance as well as in form and performed by talented actresses and actors.
