The Polish film “Furioza”, an action thriller with ultra-violent scenes, is in the ranking of the most viewed films this week on Netflix!
You’ve probably never heard of it, and yet this film is a hit on Netflix! Directed by Cyprian T. Olencki, the Polish feature film Furioza is indeed, this Tuesday, April 12, in fourth position in the ranking of the most viewed programs on the platform. A feat all the more remarkable as the film did not benefit from any promotional support.
An ultra-violent action thriller, Furioza follows the story of a man infiltrated into a gang of hooligans, at the request of his ex-police girlfriend whose brother faces a heavy prison sentence. To blend in with the ranks of the gang members, the latter will have to prove his worth by participating in particularly savage killings.
Its catchy pace, its scenes of uncompromising violence and its gripping plot most certainly explain its triumph on Netflix. Remember that before Furioza, the Polish erotic film 365 days – a sequel of which recently unveiled its first images – had already met with great success with the platform’s subscribers.
