Netflix unveils the trailer for its new blockbuster starring Millie Bobby Brown, “The Lady and the Dragon”. On the program: a badass heroine against an angry creature.
This is not a fairy tale and this heroine is not a damsel in distress. If Millie Bobby Brown is eager to turn the page on Stranger Things, the actress is continuing her collaboration with the Netflix platform for the blockbuster The Lady and the Dragon, a fantasy action film directed by Spaniard Juan Carlos Fresnadillo.
The story follows the fate of a devoted young woman promised to a handsome prince before discovering that the royal family has recruited her as a sacrifice to repay an old debt. Delivered to a dragon in a cave, she becomes very aware that no one will come to save her and that her only chance of survival rests on her shoulders.

After Eleven, Millie Bobby Brown finds here a new role as a tough girl. Like Enola Holmes, she serves as a producer. After a first poster, Netflix revealed the trailer which promises a real spectacle likely to delight subscribers. Alongside the actress, we will find Angela Bassett, Nick Robinson, Ray Winstone, but also Robin Wright.
After the release of this film, what’s next for Millie Bobby Brown? Now the actors’ strike has ended, after 118 days of mobilization, the actress should very quickly return – for the last time – to the set of Stranger Things to shoot the highly anticipated season 5. Season which should not arrive before 2025.
The Lady and the Dragon is expected on Netflix in 2024.
