Netflix unveils Dragon Age Absolution, an animated series adapted from the video game


Netflix and development studio Bioware announced at Geeked Week ’22 the arrival of “Dragon Age: Absolution” next December; a 6-episode mini-series based on the role-playing saga created in 2009. Images!

Created in 2009 by the Bioware studio, the video game franchise dragon age is a Dark Fantasy genre role-playing game series. To date, three games have been released; the last being Dragon Age: Inquisitionreleased in 2014. The next installment, announced by publisher Electronic Arts, Dragon Age: Dreadwolfwas announced in 2018, but has experienced many delays with chaotic development.

Anyway, the medieval-fantasy universe of this saga has been widely extended, whether in the form of comics, novels, animated film like Dragon Age: Dawn of The Seeker, and now very soon an animated series.

Netflix and Bioware have indeed announced at Geeked Week ’22 today that the six-episode animated series derived from the video game license and called Dragon Age: Absolution, will be broadcast on the platform next December.
