The actress and star of the Glee series, Naya Rivera, passed away on July 8. Netflix decided to pay tribute to him by broadcasting an episode of the show Sugar Rush: Extra Sweet.

It was during a date with her four-year-old son, Josey, that actress Naya Rivera lost her life. The young woman was found drowned in Lake Piru in California, United States. According to a statement from local law enforcement, she saved her son from drowning but did not have enough strength to get back on the boat. A tragic disappearance which moved the whole world and in particular the fans of Glee, as well as his former colleges in the series. Naya Rivera died at the age of 33.
A vibrant tribute will be paid to the actress on Netflix. This will allow fans to see Naya Rivera's latest appearance on television. Indeed, she had participated in the cooking show Sugar Rush: Extrat Sweet which had been shot in February 2020 just before the United States was in containment. This program brings together participants in pairs. They must compete by creating a pastry recipe. Naya Rivera had been invited, the time of an episode, to be part of the jury. At the time, she mentioned her son and her interest in pastry since she was a mother: "Yes, I have a four year old son, so you kind of 'have to' know how to cook at this point. " We must therefore expect a very moving episode since it will be the last participation of the star of Glee has a television project. Netflix clarified that this episode of Sugar Rush: Extrat Sweet pays tribute to Naya Rivera. The episode is already available on the streaming platform.
