Netgem: Two takeovers in audiovisual services

(CercleFinance.com) – Netgem announced on Monday that it would strengthen its services to audiovisual players with the acquisition of two companies that it intends to finance through a reserved capital increase.

The acquisition of the companies Eclair Préservation (EP) and Eclair Digital Services (EDS) is intended to enable it to enrich its offer for audiovisual production, in particular cinema.

The two companies claim, between them, a portfolio of more than 500 customers in France, producers and broadcasters, for whom they ensure the preservation and digitization of works, with more than two thirds of French cinematographic heritage.

In parallel with these acquisitions, Netgem announced that it was going to buy the minority interests of Caisse des Dépôts and Oceinde within its French subsidiary Vitis.

The total investment for these operations amounts to 7.4 million euros, an amount which will be financed up to five million euros by a reserved capital increase subscribed by the CDC.

This operation will be carried out at a price of 1.20 euro per share, ie an issue premium of 12.7% compared to the share price on Thursday evening.

Netgem stresses, however, that the change in scope resulting from these operations should increase its 2024 earnings per group share (EPS) by more than 10% after synergies.

Following these announcements, the Netgem share yielded not far from 1% on Monday at the Paris Stock Exchange.
