The Netherlands will face Georgia on the first matchday of the 2024 European Handball Championship. The game will kick off on January 11th at 6:00 p.m. in the SAP Arena in Mannheim.

In the qualifying tournament for the European Championships, the Netherlands took first place in group five, ahead of Croatia, among others. With Kay Smits, Dani Baijens and Lucas Steins, some players from the top leagues are there. On the Georgian side it becomes less prominent. In qualifying they only finished third in the group. Giorgi Tskhovrebadze is still known here from the HBL, otherwise almost everyone plays in the national league.

Unfortunately, you can’t follow the game on free TV. You can only see the game today on pay TV on Dyn.
