Second PlayStation franchise adapted as a TV series after The Last of Uswhose filming is progressing well with a view to a broadcast in 2023 on HBO, the choice of Twisted Metal is part of a synergy that would also see the release of a new motorized action game on PS5, although Sony Interactive Entertainment has not yet officially confirmed anything. So we come back to the series, of which we now know four of the main actors.
Around the main character played by Anthony Mackie, MCU star who embodies the new Captain Americarecently announced Stephanie Beatriz (Rosa Diaz in Brooklyn Nine-Nine) and Thomas Haden Church (the Sandman in Spiderman). It’s now around Neve Campbell, final girl of the saga Scream since 1996, to reveal his presence in this action comedy. The 48-year-old brunette will take on the outfit of Raven, a gothic character who appeared in Twisted Metal: Black.
Recall that Michael Jonathan Smith, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Cobra-Kai, Dead Pool, zombieland) are carrying this project as executive producers and writers, while Peacock, the NBCUniversal subscription, will be the broadcaster in the United States. In the cinema, the first project carried by PlayStation Productions, Uncharted, managed to cross the bar of 400 million dollars at the worldwide box office. A film adaptation of Ghost of Tsushima is now in preparation.
