If she has a preponderant place in the management of her son’s career, the 49-year-old former handball player has still imposed her conditions. “I said to Kylian: ‘Listen, I’m willing to work 23 hours a day for you, but the only thing I like is IBKM’”she reveals.

Behind this acronym, we find the name of the association Inspired by Kylian Mbappé, which helps adolescents from disadvantaged backgrounds realize their professional dreams. But the negotiation was not easy for Fayza Lamari, as she explains: “I told him: ‘I’m going to create added value for you, but we’re doing 50-50’. And there, he said to me: ‘Never in life! I’m not giving you 50%. It’s not going well or What? I’m the one who scores! What do you mean you want to take 50% from me?’.”
After tough negotiations, Fayza Lamari gives her son an ultimatum. “I told him: ‘Me, below 30, I’m withdrawing, I’m not doing it (…) The 30%, he accepted. In the medium, long term, he will have to give me that”, concludes Kylian Mbappé’s mother, visibly very proud to have stood up to her son. If what she says is true, the footballer, whose annual salary is estimated at 72 million euros at PSG, will therefore have to pay 30% of the profits generated by his companies to the IBKM association in the future.
