“Never say never” – “Hinti” will soon be a dad and talks about a comeback

Martin Hinteregger is currently only quietly thinking about returning to professional football. Because the ex-team player enjoys his private life much more. A happy event is about to happen there: Sweetheart Corina is heavily pregnant.

There was a huge surprise among Austrian football fans when Martin Hinteregger announced the end of his career in 2022, completely unannounced. The defender was then loaned out from Eintracht Frankfurt to the Carinthian fifth division club Sirnitz, where he now works as a player-coach. Recently, however, “Hinti” drew attention to himself with a statement – during a press conference at the Vienna Viktoria, where he serves as president: “ Of course, sometimes the thought of a professional comeback comes to mind. But if so, then right!” And the Carinthian continued: “I’m fit, I have the potential for our Bundesliga. If I trained really professionally for two or three months, it would also be enough for the German league.” The time has come at the end of April. Now Hinteregger explained his statements in the “Krone”: “To this day I haven’t planned a comeback, nor have I and don’t plan that far – but I don’t know, never say never. I’ll be out of contract in six months, I’ll talk to Eintracht Frankfurt.” And all of this in the middle of the upcoming baby happiness! Because “Hinti” will soon be the father of a girl – his sweetheart Corina Moser (who once played soccer in the women’s national league for St. Veit) is heavily pregnant. The time has come at the end of April. “She would then come with me everywhere – but the professional comeback project is probably too cool for me to actually do it!”
