The new AirPods duo, dubbed B768(E) and B768(M), would replace these two ranges, leaving just the AirPods Pro to embody the high-end offering. If Bloomberg has not provided information on the prices of these future models, Apple will undoubtedly try, at least for the least ambitious model, to adopt an even more accessible price positioning than currently.
According to Mark Gurman, Apple would like to make this new generation of headphones “the biggest AirPods launch yet» by producing 20 to 25 million units. As technical improvements are not often a sufficient reason to move from one generation to the next, Apple probably wants to chase new customers with an even more aggressive price than today… while remaining more expensive. that the competition, Apple obliges.
