new beautiful images to cry

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero continues to show off the latest announced roster characters with high quality images. The result is still stunning.

Bandai Namco has a lot on its plate with the Dragon Ball Sparking Zero roster. In total, no less than 164 characters will be playable. And as is often the case, the announcements are reserved primarily for V-Jump, the Japanese magazine which saw the birth of Akira Toriyama’s fabulous work. After the latest screenshots published in small size in the weekly, here are some brand new shots that do justice to the game’s graphics.

Grandiose new images for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero will normally be available this year on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. No release date has been announced by Bandai Namco, but fans are already speculating. Some think that the publisher could release this highly anticipated information on May 9, 2024. Why? It will be “Goku Day” and a surprise like that would fit perfectly. As for the launch, others assume that it will take place next November to coincide with the 40e anniversary of the legendary saga of the late Akira Toriyama. But these are nothing more than theories at the time of writing.

On the other hand, we have something concrete with new images of Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. Higher resolution shots that focus on the recently revealed characters from the roster. Namely Videl, the evil Beerus as well as Trunks from the future with his sword. The son of Vegeta and Bulma is the one who has the right to the best treatment with two captures. In the first, Trunks launches his Burning Attack technique which he uses against Frieza, while in the second, we see him with his sword in his hand. Four images which truly show the progress made since Budokai Tenkaichi 3. But now, we must transform the test and ensure that the gameplay lives up to this cult saga among players.

A casting of 100% Dragon Ball Z / Super fighters? Producers Jun Furutani and Ryo Mito do not rule out DB GT a posteriori. Because upon release, and unless things change between now and then, the GT characters will not appear on the roster and will instead be kept for DLC. Free or paid? Wait & see…
