New Canal+ releases: films, series and documentaries to watch in streaming in April 2024

Following on from their excellent start to 2024, Canal+ and its myCanal streaming platform return in April with new quality films, series and documentaries added to the catalog. The French encrypted channel once again presents strong arguments against its American rivals Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+.

Before presenting you the list of new programs in the Canal+ catalog in April 2024, here as usual is our film and series selection of the month on the service.

The Canal+ series of the month

Terminal

Flywingz, the lowest of the low-cost airlines, must stand out so as not to crash in the face of the competition. An inspection visit that turns into a fiasco, a child who takes the controls of the plane or a safety training session that goes awry: the team of broken arms always united will try as best they can to manage these absurd situations.

25 years after the cult series H, Terminal is the new sitcom produced by Jamel Debbouze, where he reunites for the occasion with Ramzy Bedia (The infernal Montparnasse Tower, Silver and blood). A program of 12 episodes of 26 minutes which promises to be a comical and tasty little treat, like The flame. To monitor.

Killers of the Flower Moon

At the beginning of the 20th century, oil brought fortune to the Osage people, who overnight became one of the richest in the world. The opulence of these Native Americans immediately attracts the lust of disreputable whites who intrigue, extract and steal as much as possible, before resorting to murder.

Adapted from the bestseller by David Grann (The Lost City of Z, The Old Man and the Gun), Killers of the Flower Moon is a massive (sometimes disproportionate) fresco on a forgotten and dark part of American history. A film of great mastery carried by a golden cast (Leonardo DiCaprio, Lily Gladstone, Robert de Niro), and directed by a Martin Scorsese of astonishing vitality. A masterpiece, quite simply.
