New Canal+ releases: films, series and documentaries to watch in streaming in February 2024

After a very solid month of January, the Canal+ channel and its myCanal streaming platform return in February with new quality films, series and documentaries added to their catalog. Valuable arguments against rival services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Disney+.

Before revealing the list of new programs joining the Canal+ catalog in February 2024, here, as always, are our favorite films and series of the month.

Full Circle

An investigation into a botched kidnapping uncovers long-standing secrets connecting multiple characters and cultures in modern-day New York City.

A new series from Steven Soderbergh (Ocean’s Eleven, Traffic, Erin Brokovich) is always an event. Written by Ed Solomon (Men in Black), Full Circle is a captivating thriller that places the viewer at the heart of a dark and stunning plot. This six-episode mini-series is also worth watching for its cast of intense actors: Claire Danes, Timothy Olyphant, Jim Gaffigan, Zazie Beetz, CCH Pounder…

Barbie is happy in Barbieland. But in this world in which perfection is king, his thoughts are invaded by questions. Barbie, accompanied by Ken, then undertakes a journey into the real world, far from Barbieland, to learn more about reality, its joys, its sorrows, and to try to know herself better.

Whether you are a fan of the famous doll or not, barbie was one of the cinema events of the year 2023 and a hit at the global box office. Greta Gerwig (Ladybird, The Daughters of Doctor March) hijacks the Mattel toy and delivers a fun, visually ambitious existential adventure with a welcome feminist message. If it is not as fine as it would like to be, barbie is a film full of good ideas, carried by the dynamic duo Margot Robbie / Ryan Gosling.
