New Canal+ releases: films, series and documentaries to watch in streaming in March 2024

Canal+ announces the new films, series and documentaries which will join the catalog of its myCanal streaming platform in March 2024. A great delivery mixing blockbusters, original creations and curiosities. Enough to be on par with Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video.

But before presenting you the list of new programs in the Canal+ catalog in March 2024, here are our favorite films and series of the month on the service.

The Canal+ series of the month

Fever

As at the end of every season, the great French football family celebrates its heroes at the Football Trophies evening. Everything changes when in front of the cameras, Fodé Thiam, the racing star, violently headbutts his trainer and calls him “dirty toubab“, which means “white” in Wolof. Sam Berger and Marie Kinsky, two talented communicators, will then engage in a merciless battle to guide public opinion.

Fever is the new series from Éric Benzekri, creator of the acclaimed Black Baron And Brothel. An intense program of six episodes, which paints the portrait of an era disfigured by the power of social networks and their culture of clash. At the heart of this effervescent theater, the face-to-face encounter between two characters and two talented actresses: Nina Meurisse and Ana Girardot.

The Canal+ film of the month

Oppenheimer

The story of J. Robert Oppenheimer, a theoretical physicist considered the father of the atomic bomb, is the leading figure in the Manhattan Project — the code name for a U.S. government research project intended to produce the weapon during World War II to achieve victory.

Oppenheimer is an impressive biopic, to which Christopher Nolan gives unprecedented breadth and breath. A unique experience with a stellar cast (Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr.), which however lacks a little emotion and heart, although very useful for hanging on to the three hours of the feature film. One of the great films of the year 2023, and favorite at the Oscars.
