New car registrations in France up 10.92% in April

(Reuters) – Registrations of new cars in France increased in April by 10.92% at an annual rate, according to data communicated on Wednesday by the Automobile Platform (PFA).

146,977 private vehicles were registered in France last month, the PFA reported. April had 21 working days this year, compared to 19 last year.

Over the first four months of the year, the market recorded an increase of 6.95% year-on-year, with 591,880 registrations.

Registrations of new cars from the Stellantis group, which includes the Peugeot, Citroën, DS and Opel brands, increased last month by 2.60% compared to a year earlier.
