Free announced the arrival of new channels on its Freebox TV. Proposed for testing for their launch, the latter induce on the other hand some changes of channels. We take stock.
Kick-off for a good fifteen new channels on Freebox TV. To accompany their launch, Free offers them for testing. Some will be accessible free of charge and without obligation until April 30, others until May 31. Enough to leave time to discover them in good and due form.
The arrival of these new channels, however, has an impact on the distribution of channels, Free engaging in a sort of game of musical chairs. Consequence: the channels of some usual channels are shifted… enough to upset the habits of some users. If you can’t find your way around, don’t panic, the operator has shared a summary. Here is what changes.
What new channels? Free until when?
Until April 30:
- Canal 124: FilmBox Arthouse: in clear until 04/30, then at €1.99/month à la carte;
- Channel 221: DocuBox: unencrypted until 04/30, then €0.99/month à la carte;
- Canal 613: Dizi: unencrypted until 04/30, then €1.99/month à la carte.
Until May 31:
- Channel 65: Discovery Investigation: unencrypted until 05/31to be found later in the WB Family Pack €5.99/month;
- Channel 66: Discovery Channel: unencrypted until 05/31, to be found later in the WB Family Pack €5.99/month;
- Canal 145: Cartoon Network: unencrypted until 05/31 and then available in the Kids Pack, in the WB Family Pack €5.99/month or even €0.99/month à la carte;
- Channel 953: Television Power: included with your Freebox TV.
Free also announces new channels grouped in two new Packs:
- Channel 171 Gametoon: unencrypted until 04/30 and then available in the Adrenaline Packs €3.99/month and Adrenaline MaXxX €6.99/month;
- Channel 194 FastnFunBox: unencrypted until 04/30 and then available in the Adrenaline Packs €3.99/month and Adrenaline MaXxX €6.99/month;
- Channel 198 FightBox: unencrypted until 04/30 and then available in the Adrenaline Packs €3.99/month and Adrenaline MaXxX €6.99/month;
- Canal 275 360 TuneBox: unencrypted until 04/30 and then available in the Adrenaline Packs €3.99/month and Adrenaline MaXxX €6.99/month;
- Canal 385 EroX to be found later in the Adrénaline MaXxX Pack €6.99/month;
- Canal 386 EroXXX to be found later in the Adrenaline MaXxX Pack €6.99/month.
