With Absolut Germany, a new DAB+ station from Antenne Deutschland was launched in April. The radio program can be heard nationwide. The focus is on national artists.

Absolut Germany is the newest station on the so-called second federal mux. This nationwide broadcast DAB+ program ensemble is now complete. The new channel from Antenne Deutschland occupies the last free slot in the bouquet of 16 radio programs. The station can also be heard via web live stream.
German music station
As the name already suggests, the new station primarily broadcasts German music. Nadime Romdhane, head of music at Absolut Germany, explains: “Absolut Germany is a platform for music from Germany. Record companies and labels also benefit more from it, because current and new music that has not yet been available on the radio will take place here”.
Absolut Germany plays Capital Bra rather than Heino
Accordingly, the target audience of Absolut Germany is the 20 to 35 year olds. So none of you have to be “afraid” of Heino and Co. Instead of folk music and hits, genres such as pop, dance and urban / German rap should dominate. In order to be able to receive Absolut Germany, the listeners of Antenne Deutschland are recommended to carry out a station search on their digital radio at home.
