WhatsApp plans to release a new theme feature in the future that will give the app a new look. We’ll reveal what’s behind it.

In the last WhatsApp beta update 23.21.1.70 for iOS it was already announced that WhatsApp wants to release a new user interface for the app with new colors and symbols. The update also introduced a new color that gives the app a modern look.
Now WhatsApp is apparently planning to introduce a new theme function. The web portal WABetaInfo reports that thanks to the latest WhatsApp beta update 24.1.1.10.70 for iOS, which is available in the TestFlight app, the development of the topic function mentioned can be seen.

As you can see in the screenshot, you will now have the option to change the main color of WhatsApp according to your preferences. In this way, WhatsApp is once again responding to user feedback and thus enabling a bit more personalization. The feature is still in development and is currently only available to beta testers in the TestFlight app. A release is expected to take place with an upcoming update.
