WhatsApp is working on a new status reporting feature. Here you should soon be able to use a controversial feature of the messenger.

Some love them, others hate them: We are of course talking about WhatsApp voice messages. Apparently, that doesn’t deter Messenger from unlocking them for other app areas.
As the fan blog WA Beta Info reports, in the future you should not only be able to send voice messages in chats, but also attach voice notes to status messages. Corresponding indications were discovered in the beta version 2.22.16.3 of Messenger for Android cell phones.
According to the report, a microphone button appears here on the status page, which you can use to record the voice memos and share them in your status. The function has not yet been released for testing.
It should therefore take some time before the controversial function is available in Messenger. Recently, WhatsApp had already caused upset with a secret change in the fan community.
