Jean-Pierre Nsame has found a new club. The striker is moving from Swiss champions YB to Como in Italy.
Three-time Super League goalscorer Jean-Pierre Nsame will no longer storm in Switzerland. As the Bernese Young Boys announced on Friday evening, the striker is moving to Como in Serie B. The northern Italians are currently in second place in the second division, which would entitle them to promotion to Serie A.
Nsame had recently openly expressed his dissatisfaction because, in his opinion, he had not received enough playing time. Nevertheless, he scored 9 goals in 18 appearances this season, which put him second in the top scorers list behind Chris Bedia (from Servette to Union Berlin), who also moved away. In total, Nsame has scored 109 goals in the Super League.
Second Italian adventure
This is Nsame’s second trip to Italy. From January to June 2022, the Cameroonian played on loan for Venice FC. However, this loan was not successful. The 30-year-old did not score a single goal in 11 appearances.
