New functions for Dropbox: It should now be even more convenient to use

Dropbox has announced a number of new features for its cloud service. These are essentially features that are intended to increase the comfort of use. According to a press release, there are a total of three major innovations.

First of all, Dropbox Backup will be expanded with new functions. On the one hand, data backup has been simplified. It can now be managed centrally via the desktop. Backed up and shared data are separated. So there is no need to worry about accidentally overwriting the emergency backup. In addition, files from the cloud backup can now be restored with just a few clicks.

The second major innovation concerns pdf files. These can now be edited in Dropbox. You can rearrange, insert, rotate and delete individual pages of a document. You can also fill out interactive forms. In addition, one can manage multiple versions of a pdf file by saving it as a replacement or copy of the original.

The third new feature is the HelloSign templates. This means that frequently used documents in Dropbox can now be converted into templates. Contracts or non-disclosure agreements can be quickly adjusted and sent with it. The documents can be tracked during the entire signature process and you will be reminded of them by automatic e-mails. Signed documents are saved automatically

The last two innovations are currently only active for beta testers. In the coming weeks, however, they should be available to all users.
