Since February 1, Netflix has been offering new cinematic nuggets on its platform. And not just any. These are the masterpieces of the Ghibli studios which are now available. Suffice to say that this news has delighted more than one. In all, 21 films are planned on Netflix. For the moment, we have had the opportunity to review The castle in the sky, My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, The Voyage of Chihiro or Arrietty, the little world of pilferers. Netflix couldn't have pleased us more!

But on April 1, a third wave of Japanese animated films from Ghibli studios will land on Netflix. Seven other films will be available on Netflix for our greatest happiness. Among these, you will have to count PomPoko, If you listen, The Howl's Moving Castle, Ponyo on the cliff, The poppy hill, The wind picks up, Memories of Marnie.

This third wave of Japanese animated films Ghibli will be the last on Netflix so take the time to savor them. This period of confinement will be perfect for finding the cult films that rocked our childhood and adolescence. It will also be an opportunity for others to discover, for the very first time, 35 years of fascinating animation.

Producer Toshio Suzuki has already been delighted to be able to make all of these works available for streaming, thus meeting the demand of fans of Ghibli studios. Last January, at the announcement of the acquisition of the rights to these films by Netflix, he explained in a press release: "In our time there are many ways to show our films. We listened to our fans and made the final decision to offer our catalog in streaming. We hope that viewers around the world will be happy to discover the world Ghibli studios as well. " There is no doubt that this new wave of animated films on Netflix will find takers.
