New Hymer ML-T: It’s really comfortable inside

You’ve probably already seen the Hymer ML-T on the street or in the parking lot, as it is one of the manufacturer’s most popular campervans. Hymer is relaunching it for the 2024 model year. Like its sister model, the Grand Canyon S, the partially integrated motorhome based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter gets a new interior look.

The designers once again used the Hymer Venture S, presented in 2022, as a model. The 2024 model year of the Hymer ML-T does not come with an inflatable pop-up roof and a mattress that can be adjusted via an app, but it does come with light-colored fabric wall coverings. We also know the pendant lamps from the spectacular (expensive) Venture S. You can choose between the two new design lines “Velvet Ash” or “Native Bamboo”.

As with the revised Grand Canyon S, Hymer is also focusing on greater self-sufficiency with the new ML-T. In other words: The capacities of the batteries (on request 3 x 80 Ah LFP batteries including inverter), tanks (120 liters of water) and the refrigerator (150 liters) have been significantly increased in some cases. Heating is done with a diesel auxiliary heater that works independently of the power grid.

More self-sufficiency

For an additional charge, Hymer will install two solar panels, each with an output of 95 watts, on the roof. A water filtration system, rear ladder and more are also on the equipment list, which is subject to a surcharge. You can view and control many functions and filling levels via the Hymer app.

The 6.98 x 2.22 x 2.92 Hymer ML-T 580 can now be ordered from the manufacturer. The price: at least 105,000 euros. You can read more innovations from the camping sector here on Netzwelt.
