Like its predecessor, AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative will alternate in two phases: the investigation in the real world and the solving of enigmas in the world of dreams (Somnium). These images focus on the investigation, a phase during which the player examines the premises, questions witnesses and searches for clues in the form of a point & click with the help of the functionalities of his artificial eye (night vision, thermal image , X-rays). In this sequel, these phases are enriched with new functionalities to shed light on the events and push the interlocutors to reveal the substance of their thoughts. The images also confirm the return of Iris, idol of youth on the internet, and the appearance of new faces like that of Kizuna, a friend from the same dance club as Iris, or that of the very square comedian Komeji.
