Until now the subject of stolen images and videos from the filming of The Last of Us season 2, HBO presents us with the first official images of Joel and Ellie!
After the enormous success of the first season, the teams behind The Last of Us have launched into season 2. We have already had some unofficial glimpses of the setting and the actors playing characters like Ellie and Dina. Now it’s the turn of images we can no longer official of Joel and Ellie, and the guarantee of a release of the next season in 2025.
The Last of Us season 2 made official in images
Since Max, HBO’s streaming platform, will arrive in France on June 11, the broadcast of season 2 of The Last of Us will therefore do without Prime Video. Either way, fans are looking forward to it. This will in fact be partly interested in the events of Part 2. This is also what HBO illustrates with these first official images of Joel and Ellie. We indeed see an aged Pedro Pascal and with slightly looser hair. On the other side, we discover Bella Ramsey in an outfit adapted to the cold.
We can therefore speculate that the image of Joel is taken from the famous party at the start of The Last of Us Part 2. The image representing Ellie could also refer to the winter start of the game. Given the stolen photos from the filming, In any case, the teams are currently working on the first half of Naughty Dog’s game. Besides Ellie played by Bella Ramsey and Joel played by Pedro Pascal, we also got unofficial glimpses of Dina, played by Isabela Merced.
That said, you will have to be patient to know how far season 2 will go in its adaptation. We can bet that we will have time to learn more between now and its release on Max here, sometime in 2025.
