The Pharos platform for reporting illegal content and behavior on the Internet has been updated. On the program, a modernized aesthetic, but not only.
A quick reminder that costs nothing: Pharos is the official portal for reporting illegal content on the Internet. It is therefore on this platform that you should go if you are the victim or witness of an offense, in order to report it to the authorities.
Everyone can, in fact, be an actor in a less toxic and violent Web, faced with a large number of situations ranging from harm to minors to incitement to hatred, including discrimination, defamation, endangering others, the uttering of threats or statements advocating terrorism. In short, it’s on Pharos that it’s happening and this platform has just been updated.
The most visible novelty is the adoption of a new graphic charter and new aesthetic codes compatible with the “design system” of the State. But that’s not all: this new version is also an opportunity to improve the user experience. The site has been reorganized and many details have been added to better guide the user. It is also easier for the reporting person to indicate whether he is the victim of the facts (a Pharos report does not replace the need to file a complaint).
Finally, all reports concerning Internet scams are redirected to Thesee, a new complementary platform recently launched to harmonize and centralize reports and investigations concerning Internet scams.
