Cascade of PMI indices on the operators’ agenda this Friday, which will make it possible, in preliminary data, to assess the level of activity in the services sector and the manufacturing industry for the month of September. The index is globally expected to fall in France, Germany, the euro zone, the United Kingdom and the United States.

We will also know, early in the morning, the final results of salaried employment for the second quarter in France, as well as the level of public debt in the euro zone in the second quarter.

Across the Channel, the GfK consumer confidence index is expected to rise by 2 points, to -42 for the month of September.

Note that the Japanese markets will be closed for the Autumn Equinox. In terms of publications, the biotech Lysogene must unveil its results for the first half.
