First introduced to Apex Legends in Season 8 Maggie, Fuse’s childhood friend, has now been confirmed as the future legend of Season 12.
Apex Legends is filled with characters more interesting than each other. While the majority of the personalities we meet in Apex are legends of the game, some are pulling the strings from the shadows.
This is the case of “Mad Maggie”, a personality who appeared as a temporary announcer in Season 8. And this during the Chaos Theory and War Games events.
His strong Aussie accent was hard to miss and won’t be in many worlds anymore. Respawn has now finally confirmed that Maggie will be the new Legend for Season 12.

Who is “Mad Maggie” in Apex Legends?
Mad Maggie was Walter “Fuse” Fitzroy’s longtime friend before the explosives expert decided to leave Salvo and join the Apex Games. Maggie considered Fuse’s decision to leave their home planet to join the competition organized by the Syndicate as a betrayal.
In Fuse’s “Stories from the Wilderness” video, we see the two grow together and form a strong bond. However, when Fuse announced to Maggie that he was joining the Apex Games, their fight ended in the loss of his arm.
As if that weren’t enough, she even sabotaged her first appearance in the games.
For committing these crimes, Maggie was arrested by the Syndicate and brought to justice where she was sentenced to death.
However, before the punishment was carried out, high-ranking members of the Syndicate decided that forcing her to join the Apex Games would be a better solution.
Is Mad Maggie coming to Apex Season 12?
After the “Judgment” Stories From the Outlands video aired on January 24, Respawn confirmed on their blog that Mad Maggie will be the Legend for Season 12. So she will be coming out with Defiance.
Unfortunately, the developers have not yet announced when the new Season will go live. Despite everything, it should take place at the beginning of February.
Additionally, they revealed that the Defiance trailer will be released on January 27th. This means we won’t have to wait long for more information on Maggie.
