New life, here I come – 11 tips from Laura Malina Seiler

“Imagine you were given a life. What would you do with it?” asks life coach and podcaster Laura Malina Seiler at her book premiere in Hamburg. “Live dreams, worry less, be content and happy.” answers our author. This is also possible in this life – with these 11 steps.

Maybe you’re one of the lucky people who can say with all your heart: “I would live my life the same way again.” Then you are already a few arm lengths ahead of many others. Congratulations!

For all other “Oh, I should have done that” thinkers and “If-this-and-that-hadn’t-been-sayers” there is also good news: It’s never too late to get the curve .

Who wants to sit out their life on the back burner. Certainly not Laura Malina Seiler. But because it is well known that all beginnings are difficult, she has 11 steps ready for us, with which we can now set off – into a new, extraordinary life.

1. Dream big and undaunted

Modesty is a virtue. Yes yes, we know. But not when it comes to dreaming. Otherwise our dreams will die before they are even dreamed to the end. Then our inner critic promptly appears and comes around the corner with a flippant “That’s not possible”. Dream censorship, clearly! But nobody says that dreams really have to come true. But: They inspire and create new space for creativity. And only big dreams program our brains to look for ways to make them come true. So: dream! Now!

2. Write down your dreams

Instead of censoring our dreams from the start, let’s write them down! This is how they manifest themselves, become visible and work. And then, in a few weeks, months or years, you realize: All of them have come true. Sounds good right? It is enough if you take a moment in the morning or in the evening to note them down in bullet points and to imagine exactly these dreams. You don’t have to have a plan yet on how exactly you should actually do it – make dreams come true – but now they are no longer just in your head.

3. Broccoli and spinach from the universe

If we assume that the universe is basically kind to us, we ask ourselves why it sends us these terrible life crises? They’re not pretty, they hurt and you don’t want them either. But: Crises set things in motion and bring about changes. This is how we can grow, change things and learn. That’s why there is always a portion of disgusting vegetables, because only then do we appreciate the ice cream for dessert all the more! And let’s be honest: in retrospect, haven’t the previous crises always produced something good?

4. Close your eyes and peace

Our inner attitude influences how we perceive the world around us. But sometimes it’s the other way around. We feel alienated, stressed, drained. Then only helps: retreat! And in ourselves.

A short break during the day works wonders. Close your eyes, breathe and question yourself:

“What life do I want to create?”

“Am I in love or in fear?”

“Does my point of view serve me right now?”

“What would love do now?”

5. One small deed every day

We all have dreams, but they only come true through one thing, namely through action. And that in turn is only dependent on us, on our will, our willingness and our perseverance. Instead of working on the perfect plan, it’s better to take action and start! Because there are only two options: either you live your dreams, or you don’t.

6. Let the world share in your plans

We’ve come this far and then suddenly it pops up: our weaker self. He’s now trying with all his might to prevent us from making our plans, because he has absolutely no desire for change. So we need a plan to keep the beast in check. The best way to do this is to tell others about your plans. People who love you will always remind you of your vision, encourage you and encourage you to persevere.

7. Fire up the gratitude confetti cannon first thing every morning

Gratitude party after waking up? Yes! Here’s how: Take

  1. When you wake up, take 2 minutes
  2. Keep your eyes closed
  3. Think about all the things that you are particularly grateful for today
  4. Imagine yourself completely freaking out and having a huge party at every point, be it people, experiences, projects, health or money or even very small things like morning coffee

So you get up positive in the morning. And as is well known, positive things should attract positive things. Let’s try it!

8. As without, so within

Do you also know: There are people who are always in a bad mood, always have something to complain about and where EVERYTHING always goes wrong. You meet, talk and afterwards you feel awful yourself. These people are energy guzzlers who actually only drag us down. So: Even if it sounds harsh, but now it’s time to sort things out. Instead of being surrounded by negative grumpy heads, we’d much rather surround ourselves with people who are good for us, right?!

9. Get a good dose of inspiration

The possibilities are almost limitless to get to know great, exciting, extraordinary people who inspire us. Audio books, podcasts, YouTube or in magazines, the world has much more to offer than Facebook or the television program. How about an exciting online seminar or coaching? Or maybe a workshop with world improvers, spiritual teachers and successful entrepreneurs?

10. Making someone happy every day

Making other people happy contributes so much to our own well-being. Especially when we have just lost access to ourselves. A kind, helpful gesture can then help to inspire us again. So: Be as helpful and creative as you wish to be at your side. Word!

11. Emotions as a superpower

What a feeling…our absolute superpower is joy! Because when we are happy from the bottom of our hearts, we get into a state of flow in which we forget space and time. A frenzy of joy. And it is precisely this state that we want to experience as often as possible.

“Because all doubts, worries and fears are really just an illusion that your ego is trying to maintain so that you don’t just leave your comfort zone. The ultimate antidote to this illusion is joy. Your ego stands no chance against true joy, which runs deep comes from your heart.”Laura Malina Seiler in “Nice that you exist”
