New loan players – double blow! Hartberg upgrades its offensive

Hartberg coach Markus Schopp is giving his men a little time to catch their breath, as the East Styrian Bundesliga team will not officially start training until June 28. But behind the scenes there was no sign of calm. Those in charge were wrapping up transfers.

Elias Havel is strengthening TSV, the centre forward is joining on loan from LASK in Hartberg. The U21 team player came through the Salzburg school and once formed a double-header at Liefering with Slovenia’s current EURO striker Benjamin Sesko. Behind him, Alexander Prass provided the assists. The 21-year-old played 25 competitive games for LASK in the Bundesliga and the Europa League. “It’s great that we were able to get Elias interested. He is an incredibly interesting player who has a lot of potential. He is about to make the leap into adult football. With him, I see the opportunity to be much more variable offensively and this is why it is a very exciting transfer for us.” “International starting place” Havel said in a club press release: “My goals are to develop further here and to gain a lot of playing time. I want to achieve the best possible position together with the team and hope that we qualify for an international starting place.”And that’s not all: Aaron Sky Schwarz, another gem (ÖFB U18) is being loaned from Rapid (most recently at Austria Klagenfurt) – Schwarz can give it his all on the left and right wing. Schopp on Schwarz: “He can leave a lasting impression here. He was able to gain interesting experience in Klagenfurt. I’m looking forward to the quality he gives us.”
