People with impairments or disabilities have to think about things that others take for granted. And not only that, someone is often needed to help out and lend a hand: a personal assistant. There was already a model for assistants, but only on a self-employed basis. That’s changing now. Through cooperation between the federal government, states and supporting organizations, the assistants can now be hired. In addition, the assistants can now be used in all areas of life, no longer just in personal or professional environments.
