New NFT partnership with Swiss company Velas

Ferrari has reached an agreement with the Swiss company Vellas to develop NFTs for the fans of Scuderia. The starting shot will be given next year.

Formula 1 has long been one of the sports that intend to exploit the potential of NFTs. Now the Scuderia Ferrari racing team is about to launch its own collection. To this end, Ferrari has agreed a multi-year partnership with the Swiss technology company Velas Network AG. While some competitors in the racing series are already creating their first NFTs, Ferrari is entering here with a little delay.

In an official statement said the Italian sports car manufacturer that it is delighted to have Velas Network AG as a partner. Ferrari and Velas will offer fans the opportunity to own digital collectibles from March 2022. Then the new racing season in Formula 1 begins.

The multi-year agreement provides for the creation of exclusive digital content for Scuderia fans. In addition, Velas becomes the title sponsor of the Ferrari eSports Series. Ferrari’s own eSports team is also sponsored by Velas. It competes in the official F1 eSports Series. The other teams in the FIA ​​Formula 1 World Championship also take part.
