Leo – from 8 years old
Leo, a jaded 74-year-old lizard, has lived in a Florida classroom for decades, with a turtle for a terrarium buddy. Also, when he learns that he only has one year to live, Leo decides to run away to discover life in freedom. But the anxious little schoolchildren hold him back, fearing in particular the arrival of a nasty replacement teacher. The list of things to absolutely do by the old lizard during his last year of life will prove to be the strangest, but also the most rewarding…
What they will like…
- The atmosphere: if your children are currently in primary school, then they will find themselves in this colorful film which tells the daily life of a CM2 class. Between the good students, the most disruptive, those who like attention or the shyest, there is everything!
- Leo! Apart from Rango released in 2011, it is very rare to see an animated film featuring a lizard. Even less such an old lizard! Our hero is as funny as he is wise. As he tries to escape by any means possible to live a final year full of adventures, he will offer the little students some nice moral lessons.
- The music ! And yes, Leo is a musical. Dear parents, rest assured: the songs are not good enough for them to stick in your head or for your little one to sing them at the top of their lungs all day long.
