Remakes aren’t always a good idea, especially when the original film was only released twenty years ago and left its mark on several generations.
By repeating exactly the same story, but modernizing it so that it is up to date and more inclusive, the risks of disappointing the public are great.
This is the case of the musical remake Mean Girls, released in theaters at the beginning of the year, which is an adaptation of a Broadway musical itself adapted from a cult comedy.
