Prime Video offers its subscribers today La Tête dans les Étoiles, a comedy full of good feelings with Hakim Jemili, Alice Pol and François-Xavier Demaison.
What is it about ?
Ali, thirty years old from the suburbs, still lives with his mother with his 8-year-old daughter. Lazy, without any particular ambition, he makes a living thanks to small jobs as a fast-food delivery boy. The feel good comedy of the summer is on Prime Video
Who hasn’t dreamed of going into space? To fly in weightlessness? And all that, without even being an astronaut and having followed months of training? This is the starting pitch of La Tête dans les étoiles, a French feel-good comedy that Prime Video is offering its subscribers this July 6.
On the casting side, the platform has bet on actors popular with the French: comedian Hakim Jemili (who has already collaborated with them on Miskina and Celebrity Hunted), Alice Pol, François-Xavier Demaison, Nawell Madani or Olivia Côte give themselves reply.
Emmanuel Gillibert, to whom we owe Les dents, pee et au lit, delivers here a film perfectly formatted for the summer and without the fuss, with a sympathetic hero, a subject that makes children dream as much as adults and a classic but effective morality.
It will be necessary to wait for the second half of the feature film to discover the scenes in space: the character of Jemili has fun with the decor, twirls and moonwalks in weightlessness. He must learn, despite himself, how to maintain a spaceship. And as much to say that when you are claustrophobic and asthmatic like Ali, it’s not a cakewalk.
La Tête dans les étoiles is a far cry from the style of the explosive Medellin, Prime Video’s latest blue-white-red production. But it will bring the whole family together for a convivial moment.
