Bad news for Netflix subscribers in France, since the streaming giant has just announced an increase in prices, which now reach 20 euros for the Premium subscription.
In 2021, Netflix drastically increased the prices of all its subscriptions in France, and the American giant has finally done it again at the end of the year. The Premium subscription, which allows you to watch your series on 4 screens simultaneously in 4K Dolby Atmos and HDR, was already offered at no less than 17.99 euros until now, this will now be much more expensive.
Netflix announced that it would increase the price of the plan to 19.99 euros per month, or an additional 2 euros. Although this may not seem like much, it is still an increase of 24 euros per year. Unfortunately, other cheaper subscriptions are also affected by the price increases.

Netflix increases its prices again in France
The Premium subscription is not the only one to see its price increase, since the “Essential” subscription is also the victim of a significant increase. While it was until now offered at 8.99 euros per month, you will now have to pay 10.99 euros per month, a similar increase of 2 euros per month.
This is the largest increase recorded in recent years on this formula, sincein 2021, Netflix had “only” increased its price by one euro. Moreover, some countries have started to eliminate this “Essential” subscription, but given the increase in its price in France, its disappearance here does not yet seem to be on the agenda.

Strangely, the Standard formula offered at 13.99 euros per month has not been increased. The new subscription with advertisements, at 5.99 euros per month, was also spared by these new increases.
